Busy as usual around here! We've been playing at the park during all these warm days, half-heartedly working on some home projects, letting Daddy get his overtime in at work, practicing bike skills, chasing bubbles and learning to crawl. Since Evie loves to eat, I've ventured into making home-made baby food. It's a bit more effort in that I have to cut, steam and use the blender...but it's been fun and I think saving us some money too. I try to buy organic ingredients when possible and I'm able to freeze the extras.

Trying hard to learn to crawl. She gets excited and has gotten up once or twice to a crawl position on her own, but then she kicks out her leg and rolls. She has done a bit of scooting around too. I don't put her down much to practice honestly! She gets held and carried or run around town quite a bit. =)

It was such a mild winter in many ways. Now, it's spring- Austin is starting soccer- first practice tomorrow night. We'll see how it goes!
