We keep trying...

Austin is getting his two front teeth, we asked for them at Christmas, so they are just a tad late. He also came down with his first real cold on Friday which has just gotten worse and worse. He had a fever of 101.7 last night so we went to see the doctor this morning. He has croup- which I suspected- his cough sounds so bad. But, he also has a double ear infection, which I did not expect. It will take him a few days to feel better and get over it, so it's been a little stressful. He is up to 16# 2 ounces with clothes on!

He also started crawling- really crawling- not just his scoot. He was getting better and better since last week. Taking a step here and there, then 4, then 6, and then today? He went across the whole living room in a crawl. I will try to get a video up if we can!

Flurry had surgery on Jan 5th for his megacolon condition. He had a subtotal colectomy- his colon was removed. He came home on Thursday, mad and refusing to eat. I had to syringe feed him. (Imagine taking some wet food and pureeing it and forcing it down the cat's throat over and over...). Thankfully he decided to start eating Saturday afternoon, so I am down to one syringe feed, and his meds a few times a day. He is off to the vet again today because there is some clear fluid leaking near his stitches- looks like they may have pulled apart. Hopefully, it's nothing major.

We are still trying to work on getting pictures. One more thing to try...
